Frequently Asked Questions
What does a forecast actually tell me?
Run any ticker through the Open Eltrove and the Eltrove Engine returns a directional lean (bullish, bearish, or neutral), a likely range, a confidence badge (low, medium, or high), and the plain-English why behind the call, with the linked news driving it. It is not a price target or a drawn price line. It is a calibrated read across Trend, Momentum, and Macro. No brokerage is required to forecast.
How much does a forecast cost?
Forecasts are pay-per-lookup. Credits are $1 for 5 credits and 1 credit runs 1 lookup. There is no subscription required to forecast. Buy credits from your dashboard whenever you need them.
Can I check how accurate the forecasts are?
Yes. Every call is timestamped and scored against what actually happened. The live public Scorecard pulls directly from the backend, so you see real results, not marketing claims. None of this is investment advice.
What is Insiders?
Insiders is a live feed of who bought what among the people who move markets: members of Congress, the Cabinet and senior executive branch, and corporate insiders such as CEOs, CFOs, directors, and 10% owners. It pulls real filings only, from SEC EDGAR Form 4, House and Senate Periodic Transaction Reports, and executive-branch disclosures. Transactions are labeled as filed (BUY, SELL, GRANT, GIFT, TAX, EXERCISE, CONVERT, DISPOSE). You can follow people and companies, and search by name, state, or company.
Does Insiders predict what insiders will do next?
No. We surface filings as they are disclosed, we do not front-run them. Congressional disclosures carry the statutory filing lag of roughly 45 days, and we show that honestly. Insiders is information, not investment advice.
Does automated trading work yet?
Not yet. Automated execution is a future capability that will go live only once Eltrove is licensed under the appropriate regulatory path. Eltrove never custodies your capital and never promises returns. Today the products are Forecasts and Insiders.
How do I connect my brokerage account?
Automated execution is not live yet and will arrive only once Eltrove is licensed. When it does, you will sign in to your Eltrove dashboard, go to Broker in the sidebar, and click Connect Broker. You are taken to a secure connection portal to log in at your brokerage and authorize Eltrove. There are no API keys to copy, and we never see your broker password. For now, Forecasts and Insiders need no brokerage connection.
When will automated trading be available?
Automated execution is a future capability that depends on Eltrove completing the appropriate licensing. When it ships, you will be able to connect a live brokerage account and choose it as the account to trade, and we will recommend running a paper or practice account first. Trading involves real financial risk. Eltrove is a software platform only, never custodies funds, and is not responsible for trading losses.
Which brokers will be supported for execution?
When automated execution launches, the planned first connections are Alpaca and Tradier. If you use a different broker, contact us and we will prioritize additions based on demand. Forecasts and Insiders work with no broker at all.
Does Eltrove hold or touch my money?
No. Eltrove never holds, touches, or has custody of your funds, and never will. Forecasts and Insiders involve no funds at all. If automated execution launches in the future, all capital would stay in your own brokerage account, the connection would be made securely, and we would never see your broker password or API keys.
My forecast is taking a while to load.
Most forecasts return in seconds. If a lookup hangs longer than a minute, the engine may be under heavy load. Refresh the Open Eltrove and try again. A credit is only spent on a completed forecast. If the issue persists, contact support and we will look into it.
What is the PDT rule and how will Eltrove handle it?
The Pattern Day Trader (PDT) rule applies to US margin accounts with under $25,000. It limits you to 3 day trades per 5 business days. When automated execution launches, it will be PDT-aware and will not exceed this limit on margin accounts. Using a cash account avoids PDT entirely. This does not affect the Forecast tab or Insiders.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to your dashboard, then Settings, then Manage Billing. You will be taken to your billing portal where you can cancel, update payment info, or download invoices. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Can I get a refund?
If something went wrong with a purchase, such as forecast credits that were charged but not delivered, email [email protected] and we will make it right. We review every request personally.
My Google sign-in is not working.
Make sure popups are allowed for eltrove.com in your browser settings. If the button appears grayed out, check that you have ticked the Terms of Service checkbox first. If you are still stuck, try a different browser or clear your cookies and try again. Contact us if the issue persists.
I paid but my credits have not shown up.
Payment confirmation can take up to 60 seconds to reflect. Refresh your dashboard. If your credits still have not appeared after a few minutes, contact us at [email protected] with your payment confirmation and we will resolve it immediately.
