Automated
Execution.
A good signal poorly executed is a losing trade. Eltrove routes every approved order through your own brokerage with sizing, risk limits, and pattern-day-trader rules built in from the start. No manual intervention, no missed entries.

Your account, your orders
Eltrove never custodies your capital. We send orders through your existing Alpaca or Interactive Brokers account using your own API keys. You can revoke access in one click from either your broker or your Eltrove portal.
Keys are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and scoped to read account + place orders only. No withdrawal, no transfer, no admin permissions.
What the execution layer handles
- Position sizing. Each trade is sized by ensemble conviction × account equity × volatility-adjusted risk budget. No fixed share counts.
- Risk caps. Per-symbol exposure, sector exposure, gross + net portfolio limits, and a daily-loss kill switch, all enforced before submit.
- PDT awareness. Cash accounts under $25k get a built-in day-trade counter that prevents the system from triggering pattern-day-trader violations.
- Order routing. Limit orders by default, with smart pricing relative to the bid/ask. Market orders only on tight-spread liquid names or forced exits.
- Stops + exits. Hard stops registered with the broker. Time-based and signal-reversal exits run on the brain side and cancel/replace as conditions change.
- Reconciliation. Every cycle, the executor verifies what's actually on the broker matches what Eltrove thinks should be there. Drift triggers a pause + alert, not a silent ride.
Brokers supported
- Alpaca: paper + live. Best for US equities, fastest onboarding.
- Interactive Brokers: paper + live. For accounts wanting global markets, options, or institutional pricing.
- Tradier: cash account, no PDT restriction. Useful for smaller accounts.
More brokers can be added on request; Robinhood, Schwab, Fidelity routing is on the roadmap subject to API quality.
Failure modes: what happens when things go wrong
Markets, brokers, and APIs all fail occasionally. Eltrove fails closed, not open.
- Broker API down → orders queue, system alerts you, no blind retries.
- Position-vs-target drift detected → bot auto-pauses, you get notified.
- Equity drops below daily-loss threshold → kill switch, all open orders canceled, no new entries until you re-enable.
- Subscription lapses → trading halts, existing positions left alone (we never liquidate without your action).
Execution you don't have to babysit.
Connect your broker once. Eltrove handles the rest.
